ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਚੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ॥ ਕੀਤਾ ਲੋੜਹਿ ਸੋ ਕਰਹਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥   करि किरपा प्रभ आपणी सचे सिरजणहार ॥ कीता लोड़हि सो करहि नानक सद बलिहार ॥   Kar kirpā parabẖ āpṇī sacẖe sirjaṇhār. Kīṯā loṛėh so karahi Nānak saḏ balihār.   O my True Creator Lord God, please shower Your Mercy on me. ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇੜੀ ਸਚ ਕੀ ਤਰੀਐ ਗੁਰ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥ ਇਕਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਇਕਿ ਜਾਵਹੀ ਪੂਰਿ ਭਰੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਿ ॥ ਮਨਹਠਿ ਮਤੀ ਬੂਡੀਐ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਚੁ ਸੁ ਤਾਰਿ ॥   नानक बेड़ी सच की तरीऐ गुर वीचारि ॥ इकि आवहि इकि जावही पूरि भरे अहंकारि ॥ मनहठि मती बूडीऐ गुरमुखि सचु सु तारि ॥   Nānak beṛī sacẖ kī ṯarīai gur vīcẖār. Ik āvahi ik jāvhī pūr bẖare ahaʼnkār. Manhaṯẖ maṯī būdīai gurmukẖ sacẖ so ṯār.   O Nanak, the Boat of Truth will ferry you across; contemplate the Guru. Some come, and some go; they are totally filled with egotism. ਮੋਨਿ ਭਇਓ ਕਰਪਾਤੀ ਰਹਿਓ ਨਗਨ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਬਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥ ਤਟ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਭ ਧਰਤੀ ਭ੍ਰਮਿਓ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਛੁਟਕੈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥   मोनि भइओ करपाती रहिओ नगन फिरिओ बन माही ॥ तट तीरथ सभ धरती भ्रमिओ दुबिधा छुटकै नाही ॥   Mon bẖaio karpāṯī rahio nagan firio ban māhī. Ŧat ṯirath sabẖ ḏẖarṯī bẖarmio ḏubiḏẖā cẖẖutkai nāhī.   One may remain silent and use his hands as begging bowls, and wander naked in the forest.
