I have personally tested this Shankh and it does blow.

However, because of its age, size and internal structure, it is not particularly easy to blow. It requires the correct lip position, breathing technique, practice and a good strong breath.

Please therefore do not purchase expecting it to produce a strong sound immediately without practice.

This is an old natural shell rather than a modern manufactured blowing conch.
