✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 682 ✨
ਅਉਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੇਈ ਅਪਨਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
ਹਾਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੈ ਅਪਨੇ ਕਉ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੇ ॥
अउखी घड़ी न देखण देई अपना बिरदु समाले ॥
हाथ देइ राखै अपने कउ सासि सासि प्रतिपाले ॥
Aukẖī gẖaṛī na ḏekẖaṇ ḏeī apnā biraḏ samāle.
Hāth ḏee rākẖai apne kao sās sās parṯipāle.
🌿 Meaning (English):
The Lord does not allow His devotees to suffer in difficult times; such is His loving nature. Extending His Hand, He protects His own, and with every single breath, He nurtures and sustains them.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ):
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਔਖੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ। ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
परमात्मा अपने भक्तों को कठिन समय में अकेला नहीं छोड़ता। अपना हाथ देकर वह उनकी रक्षा करता है और हर सांस के साथ उनका पालन-पोषण करता रहता है।
💫 Reflection:
There are moments in life when challenges feel overwhelming and the future appears uncertain. In such times, Gurbani reminds us that Waheguru never abandons those who remember Him with love and faith. His compassion is not distant or occasional — it is constant, flowing with every breath we take.
Guru Sahib teaches that Divine protection does not always mean a life free from struggle, but it means we are never left alone within those struggles. Waheguru supports, guides, and strengthens the soul even in the darkest moments. Often, when we look back at difficult periods in life, we realise that an unseen Divine Hand was carrying us all along.
This shabad fills the heart with reassurance and hope. When anxiety rises, remember that the Creator who gave us life is also sustaining us every second. Trusting in His care brings peace to the mind and courage to continue forward with faith.
