✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – 3 Jeth | 17 May, Sunday | SGGS Ang 727 ✨
ਕੁਜਾ ਆਮਦ ਕੁਜਾ ਰਫਤੀ ਕੁਜਾ ਮੇ ਰਵੀ ॥ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਿਕਾ ਨਗਰੀ ਰਾਸਿ ਬੁਗੋਈ ॥
ਖੂਬੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਗਰੀ ਮੀਠੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੋਲ ॥ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਿਕਾ ਨਗਰੀ ਕਾਹੇ ਕੇ ਮਗੋਲ ॥
ਚੰਦੀ ਹਜਾਰ ਆਲਮ ਏਕਲ ਖਾਨਾਂ ॥ ਹਮ ਚਿਨੀ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ਸਾਂਵਲੇ ਬਰਨਾਂ ॥
Kujā āmaḏ kujā rafṯī kujā me ravī. Ḏavārikā nagrī rās bugoī.
Kẖūb ṯerī pagrī mīṭẖe ṯere bol. Ḏavārikā nagrī kāhe ke magol.
Cẖandī hazār ālam ekal kẖānāṅ. Ham chinī pāṯisāh sāṅvle barnāṅ.
🌿 Meaning (English):
O Divine One, where did You come from, where have You gone, and where do You dwell? You alone perform the Divine play everywhere. Beautiful is Your appearance and sweet is Your speech. You are the Master of countless worlds, the One Lord present in all forms and places.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi):
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਨਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਤੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਨਾਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ—ਤੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈਂ। ਤੇਰੀ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਲੀਲਾ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈਂ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे प्रभु! न आप कहीं से आते हैं और न कहीं जाते हैं—आप हर स्थान पर विद्यमान हैं। आपकी लीला हर जगह चल रही है। आप ही असंख्य संसारों के स्वामी हैं और हर रूप में मौजूद हैं।
💫 Reflection:
This beautiful Shabad reminds us that Waheguru is not limited to one place, religion, culture, or appearance. The Divine is present everywhere—in every heart, every land, and every moment of creation.
Guru Sahib teaches us to rise above divisions and see the One Light within all. Human beings often separate themselves through labels and identities, but Gurbani reminds us that the same Divine presence exists in everyone.
When we truly understand this, love replaces division, humility replaces pride, and unity replaces separation. Spiritual wisdom begins when we stop limiting Waheguru to boundaries and recognise His presence throughout the entire universe.
