✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – 7 Harh | 21 June, Sunday | SGGS Ang 1392 ✨
ਸੁ ਕਹੁ ਟਲ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥
ਦਰਸਨਿ ਪਰਸਿਐ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੈ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
So kaho Tal gur séveeae ahinis sahaj subhāé.
Ḋarsan parsiae gurū kae janam maraṇ ḋukh jāé.
🌿 Meaning (English):
So speaks Tal the poet: serve the Guru day and night with natural love and devotion. By beholding and experiencing the Guru's presence, the pain of birth and death is removed.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi):
ਟੱਲ ਕਵੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਸਹਿਜ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
टल्ल कवि कहते हैं कि दिन-रात सहज प्रेम और भक्ति से गुरु की सेवा करनी चाहिए। गुरु के दर्शन और उपदेश को जीवन में धारण करने से जन्म-मरण का दुख दूर हो जाता है।
💫 Reflection:
This beautiful Shabad reminds us that spiritual growth is not achieved through force or ritual alone, but through sincere love and devotion to the Guru. The word "sahaj" points to a natural, balanced, and effortless connection with the Divine.
In today's busy world, we often search for peace in external achievements, yet Gurbani teaches that true peace comes from staying connected to the Guru's wisdom. When we reflect on Gurbani, live according to its teachings, and keep the Guru close in our hearts, fear and uncertainty begin to fade.
