✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 751 ✨
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੂੰ ਮੈ ਮਾਣੁ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ॥
ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਕਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਗੈ ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
मेरे साहिब तूं मै माणु निमाणी ॥
अरदासि करी प्रभ अपने आगै सुणि सुणि जीवा तेरी बाणी ॥
Mere sāhib ṯūʼn mai māṇ nimāṇī.
Arḏās karī parabẖ apne āgai suṇ suṇ jīvā ṯerī baṇī.
🌿 Meaning:
O my Lord and Master, You are the honour of the dishonoured such as me. I offer my prayer before You, O God; by continuously listening to Your Divine Bani, I truly live.
💫 Reflection:
This Hukamnama gently reminds us of humility and dependence on Waheguru. No matter how low, broken, or unworthy we may feel, true honour does not come from the world—it comes only from the Divine. When we surrender ego and stand before Vaheguru with sincerity, He lifts us with grace.
The line “ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ” teaches that life is not just physical existence—it is spiritual awakening through Gurbani. Listening, reflecting, and living Gurbani is what gives our life real meaning, peace, and strength.
