✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 394 ✨
ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀਆ ਮੀਠਾ ਲਾਗੈ ॥
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮਾਂਗੈ ॥
तेरा कीआ मीठा लागै ॥
हरि नामु पदारथु नानकु मांगै ॥
Ŧerā kīā mīṯẖā lāgai.
Har nām paḏārath Nānak māʼngai.
🌿 Meaning (English):
Whatever You do seems sweet to me. Nanak asks only for the treasure of the Lord’s Naam.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ):
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਰ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਹੀ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे प्रभु! तेरा किया हुआ सब कुछ मुझे मीठा लगता है। नानक केवल तेरे नाम की दौलत ही मांगता है।
💫 Reflection:
These beautiful words of Guru Arjan Dev Ji teach us the highest form of acceptance and faith. Even during the most difficult circumstances, Guru Sahib accepted Waheguru’s Will with complete love and trust. Rather than asking for worldly comforts, honours, or possessions, he asked only for the priceless gift of Naam.
Life does not always unfold according to our wishes, yet Gurbani teaches us to trust that there is Divine wisdom behind every situation. When we learn to accept Hukam with gratitude, the mind becomes peaceful and resilient. The greatest treasure is not material wealth, but a heart connected to Waheguru through Naam and remembrance.

Accept Waheguru’s Will with trust and gratitude, and seek the everlasting treasure of Naam above all else.
