✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 724 ✨
ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੀਮ ਨ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਵਡਾ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ॥
ਕਰਿ ਬੰਦੇ ਤੂ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਜਿਚਰੁ ਘਟ ਮਹਿ ਸਾਹੁ ॥
कुदरति कीम न जाणीऐ वडा वेपरवाहु ॥
करि बंदे तू बंदगी जिचरु घट महि साहु ॥
Kuḏraṯ kīm na jāṇīai vadā veparvāhu.
Kar banḏe ṯū banḏagī jicẖar gẖat mėh sāhu.
🌿 Meaning (English):
The value and extent of the Lord’s creation cannot be fully known; He is the Great and Independent Lord. O human being, meditate on and worship the Lord for as long as there is breath within your body.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ):
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਮੁਥਾਜ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ! ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਤਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
परमात्मा की महिमा और उसकी रचना का मूल्य पूरी तरह नहीं जाना जा सकता। वह महान और स्वतंत्र प्रभु है। हे मनुष्य! जब तक तेरे शरीर में सांस है, तब तक प्रभु की भक्ति करता रह।
💫 Reflection:
Guru Sahib reminds us that the greatness of Waheguru is beyond human understanding. We may study the world, admire creation, and experience countless blessings, yet His wisdom and power remain limitless. Instead of becoming lost in worldly distractions, Gurbani encourages us to use this precious human life in remembrance of the Creator.
Life is uncertain and every breath is a gift. The true wealth of life is not found in possessions or status, but in building a connection with Waheguru through Naam, prayer, and righteous living. Every day offers another opportunity to remember the One who sustains us.
