ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲਾ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਉ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
ਕਰਮੀ ਆਵੈ ਕਪੜਾ ਨਦਰੀ ਮੋਖੁ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਏਵੈ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਸਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਸਚਿਆਰੁ ॥
अम्रित वेला सचु नाउ वडिआई वीचारु ॥
करमी आवै कपड़ा नदरी मोखु दुआरु ॥
नानक एवै जाणीऐ सभु आपे सचिआरु ॥
Transliteration
Amrit velā sach nāo vadiāī vīchār.
Karmī āvai kapṛā nadrī mokh duār.
Nānak evai jāṇīai sabh āpe sachīār.
Meaning
In the Amrit Vela, the ambrosial hours before dawn, meditate on the True Name and reflect on His Glorious Greatness. By the karma of past actions, this human body is obtained; by His Grace, the gate of liberation is found. O Nanak, know this well: the True One Himself is All.

ਸੁਬਹ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਦੇਹ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਖੁਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਸੱਚਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੈ।
