📖 Description

The Sikh Kara (ਕੜਾ / کڑا / कड़ा) is one of the sacred Five Ks (Panj Kakaar) and represents an eternal bond with Waheguru, reminding Sikhs to perform righteous actions throughout life.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji formally established the Kara as one of the Five Ks during the historic Amrit Sanchar of Vaisakhi 1699, making it an enduring symbol of the Khalsa.

This authentic Pure Sarbloh Kara is handcrafted using traditional forging methods that have been practised for generations. Unlike machine-finished bracelets, these Karas retain the distinctive handmade characteristics appreciated by practising Sikhs and collectors alike.

Every Kara is individually forged, shaped, hammered, ground and finished by hand. This means no two Karas are ever identical, making every bracelet a unique piece of traditional Sikh craftsmanship.

Many Singhs prefer Pure Sarbloh because of its historical significance, traditional appearance and connection with Sikh heritage.

⚖️ Important Information & Protective Disclaimer

This Kara is handcrafted from traditional Pure Sarbloh (Pure Iron) using time-honoured forging techniques rather than modern machine manufacturing.

Please note the following are normal characteristics of authentic handmade Sarbloh Karas and should NOT be considered defects:

• Minor rust spots or oxidation may naturally be present, as rust is a normal characteristic of Pure Iron.

• Hairline forge lines, tiny surface cracks or stress marks may occasionally be visible around the handmade joint where the Kara is traditionally forged.

• Hammer marks, grinding marks, polishing marks, black forge marks, cut marks, scuff marks, minor dings, tiny dents and slight surface irregularities are natural signs of genuine handmade craftsmanship.

• Every Kara is individually handcrafted, therefore no two Karas are exactly the same. Weight, width, thickness, finish, colour tone and overall appearance will naturally vary.

• Some Karas may have small joint finishing marks where traditional shaping and grinding has taken place.

• Many Singhs traditionally polish or clean Pure Sarbloh Karas from time to time as part of normal care.

• Colour may vary slightly due to lighting, photography or monitor settings.

These natural characteristics are widely recognised within the Sikh community as evidence of an authentic handmade Pure Sarbloh Kara crafted using traditional methods rather than mass production.

📦 Packaging Notice

Your Kara will be carefully inspected before dispatch and supplied in a protective gift bag, making it suitable for gifting or personal use.
