ਜੇਤੇ ਦਾਣੇ ਅੰਨ ਕੇ ਜੀਆ ਬਾਝੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਜੀਉ ਹੈ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥   जेते दाणे अंन के जीआ बाझु न कोइ ॥पहिला पाणी जीउ है जितु हरिआ सभु कोइ ॥   Jeṯe ḏāṇe ann ke jīā bājẖ na koe. Pahilā pāṇī jīo hai jiṯ hariā sabẖ koe.   As many as are the grains of corn, none is without life. ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਏਕੁ ਓਹੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ਆਕਾਰੁ ॥ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਕੋ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥   करण कारण एकु ओही जिनि कीआ आकारु ॥ तिसहि धिआवहु मन मेरे सरब को आधारु ॥   Karaṇ kāraṇ ek ohī jin kīā ākār.
