ਰਾਜਨ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਉਰਝਾਇਓ ਮਾਨਨ ਮਹਿ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ॥ ਲੋਭਨ ਮਹਿ ਲੋਭੀ ਲੋਭਾਇਓ ਤਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਚੇ ਗਿਆਨੀ ॥ राजन महि राजा उरझाइओ मानन महि अभिमानी ॥ लोभन महि लोभी लोभाइओ तिउ हरि रंगि रचे गिआनी ॥ Rājan mėh rājā urjẖāio mānan mėh abẖimānī. ਅਉਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੇਈ ਅਪਨਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥ ਹਾਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੈ ਅਪਨੇ ਕਉ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੇ ॥   अउखी घड़ी न देखण देई अपना बिरदु समाले ॥ हाथ देइ राखै अपने कउ सासि सासि प्रतिपाले ॥   Aukẖī gẖaṛī na ḏekẖaṇ ḏeī apnā biraḏ samāle. Hāth ḏee rākẖai apne kao sās sās parṯipāle.   He does not let His devotees see the difficult times; this is His innate nature. ਨਿੰਦਾ ਭਲੀ ਕਿਸੈ ਕੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਮੁਗਧ ਕਰੰਨਿ ॥  ਮੁਹ ਕਾਲੇ ਤਿਨ ਨਿੰਦਕਾ ਨਰਕੇ ਘੋਰਿ ਪਵੰਨਿ ॥ निंदा भली किसै की नाही मनमुख मुगध करंनि ॥ मुह काले तिन निंदका नरके घोरि पवंनि ॥ Ninḏā bẖalī kisai kī nāhī manmukẖ mugaḏẖ karann. Muh kāle ṯin ninḏkā narke gẖor pavann.
