ਮਨ ਰੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅਗਨਿ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ॥ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਕਹਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਹਉਮੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਮਾਰਿ ॥ मन रे गुरमुखि अगनि निवारि ॥ गुर का कहिआ मनि वसै हउमै त्रिसना मारि ॥ Man re gurmukẖ agan nivār. Gur kā kahiā man vasai haumai ṯarisnā mār. O mind, become Gurmukh, and extinguish the fire within.
