✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – 28 Sawan | 12 August, Wednesday | SGGS Ang 95 ✨
ਬਿਨੁ ਭਾਗਾ ਸਤਸੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਭੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਭਰੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
Bin bẖāgā saṯsang na labẖai bin sangaṯ mail bẖarījai jīo.
🌿 Meaning (English):
Without good fortune, the blessing of Sat Sangat is not found. Without uplifting spiritual company, the mind becomes stained by worldly influences and inner impurities.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi):
ਚੰਗੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਤਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਸੱਚੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਨਾਲ ਮਨ ਮਾਇਆ, ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਲੀਨਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
अच्छे भाग्य के बिना सत्संग की प्राप्ति नहीं होती। सच्ची संगत से दूर रहने पर मन माया, विकारों और मलिनता से प्रभावित होता जाता है।
💫 Reflection:
This Shabad reminds us that Sat Sangat is itself a blessing. The people and influences around us quietly shape our thoughts, habits, and direction in life. When we remain in the company of those who remember Waheguru and live according to Gurbani, our own mind is naturally encouraged towards Naam.
Sat Sangat is more than simply being among people. It is an environment where Gurbani is remembered, humility grows, Seva is valued, and our attention turns towards Waheguru.
Just as the body needs clean nourishment, the mind also needs uplifting company. Through good Sangat, negative influences gradually weaken and our connection with the Guru becomes stronger.
