🪔 ਉਸਤਤਿ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਨਾਹਿ ਜਿਹਿ ਕੰਚਨ ਲੋਹ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਨਿ ਰੇ ਮਨਾ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਤੈ ਜਾਨਿ ॥
उसतति निंदिआ नाहि जिहि कंचन लोह समानि ॥
कहु नानक सुनि रे मना मुकति ताहि तै जानि ॥
Usṫaṫ ninḋiaa naahi jihi kanchan loh samaan.
Kaho Naanak sun ré manaa mukaṫ ṫaahi ṫae jaan.
📖 Meaning:
One who rises above praise and slander…
One who sees gold and iron as equal…
Says Guru Nanak Dev Ji — O mind, understand this deeply:
Such a person is truly liberated.
🧠 Deep Reflection:
When praise does not inflate us…
When criticism does not break us…
When wealth does not tempt us…
When loss does not disturb us…
That is freedom.
That is inner sovereignty.
That is Mukti while living.
🌿 Gold and iron are the same to the spiritually awakened.
🌿 Ego and insult hold no power over a balanced soul.
🌿 Liberation begins when attachment ends.
🙏 Today’s Hukam for the mind:
Detach from approval.
Detach from insult.
Detach from greed.
Attach only to Naam.
💬 Ask yourself:
Do I react to praise?
Do I react to criticism?
Or do I remain anchored in Guru’s wisdom?
Let today be a step toward inner steadiness.
