✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1096 ✨
ਜਾ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੈ ਵਲਿ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਕਿਆ ਮੁਹਛੰਦਾ ॥
ਤੁਧੁ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੈਨੋ ਸਉਪਿਆ ਜਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ॥
जा तू मेरै वलि है ता किआ मुहछंदा ॥
तुधु सभु किछु मैनो सउपिआ जा तेरा बंदा ॥
Jā ṯū merai val hai ṯā kiā muhcẖẖanḏā.
Ŧuḏẖ sabẖ kicẖẖ maino saupiā jā ṯerā banḏā.
🌿 Meaning (English):
When You are on my side, Lord, what do I need to worry about? When I surrender myself as Your servant, everything is entrusted to me by You.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi - Gurmukhi):
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੈਂ, ਫਿਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ। ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे प्रभु! जब आप मेरे साथ हैं, तो मुझे किसी बात की चिंता क्यों हो? जब मैं आपका सेवक बन जाता हूँ, तब आप सब कुछ मुझे सौंप देते हैं।
💫 Reflection:
This Hukamnama teaches a deep truth about trust and surrender. Much of our anxiety comes from trying to control everything ourselves. But Gurbani reminds us that when we truly align with Waheguru — not just in words but in faith — fear loses its grip.
Being “ਤੇਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ” (Your servant) is not about weakness; it is about complete trust. It means letting go of ego and accepting that the Divine is the true caretaker. When we walk with this mindset, even difficult situations begin to feel lighter, because we know we are not alone in carrying them.

Let go of worry. Stand in faith. When Waheguru is with you, nothing is missing.
