✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1096 ✨
ਜਾ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੈ ਵਲਿ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਕਿਆ ਮੁਹਛੰਦਾ ॥
ਤੁਧੁ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੈਨੋ ਸਉਪਿਆ ਜਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ॥
जा तू मेरै वलि है ता किआ मुहछंदा ॥
तुधु सभु किछु मैनो सउपिआ जा तेरा बंदा ॥
Jā ṯū merai val hai ṯā kiā muhcẖẖanḏā.
Ŧuḏẖ sabẖ kicẖẖ maino saupiā jā ṯerā banḏā.

ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਪੱਖ ਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਕੀ ਮੁਹਤਾਜੀ ਧਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ? ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਗੋਲਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁੱਛ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
English:
When You are on my side, Lord, what do I need to worry about? When I have become Your servant, You have entrusted everything to me.
Hindi:
हे प्रभु! जब तू मेरे पक्ष में है तो मुझे किसी और के सहारे की क्या आवश्यकता है? जब मैं तेरा सेवक बन गया हूँ, तब तूने सब कुछ मुझे सौंप दिया है।
💫 Reflection:
This beautiful Shabad reminds us of the strength that comes from placing our complete trust in Waheguru.
We often worry about what will happen tomorrow, how problems will be solved, or whether we will have enough strength to face what lies ahead. Fear grows when we believe that everything depends only on us.
Guru Sahib teaches us a different way.
When we surrender ourselves to Waheguru and walk according to His wisdom, we no longer need to carry every burden alone. This does not mean that we stop working or fulfilling our responsibilities. It means that we perform our duties sincerely while trusting the One who is ultimately in control.
When Waheguru is our support, we can face difficult circumstances with greater courage and peace.
The words “You are on my side” express a deep relationship of trust. They remind us that our greatest security does not come from wealth, position, or people around us. It comes from knowing that we are walking with the Divine.
Let us do our best, remain humble, and leave the outcome in Waheguru’s hands.
