ਜਿਉ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਅਰੁ ਪੇਖਨਾ ਐਸੇ ਜਗ ਕਉ ਜਾਨਿ ॥
ਇਨ ਮੈ ਕਛੁ ਸਾਚੋ ਨਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਨੁ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥
जिउ सुपना अरु पेखना ऐसे जग कउ जानि ॥
इन मै कछु साचो नही नानक बिनु भगवान ॥
Transliteration
Jio supnaa ar pekhnaa aese jag kao jaan.
In mae kachh saacho nahee Naanak bin bhagvaan.
Meaning
Like a dream and a passing show, so is this world, understand it as such.
Nothing here is truly permanent, O Nanak, except the Divine.

ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਜਾਂ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵੀ ਅਸਥਿਰ ਹੈ। ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਸੱਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
🌿 Today’s Reflection
Much of what we chase in life feels urgent and permanent — wealth, status, possessions, recognition. Yet Gurbani gently reminds us that the world is like a dream or a stage performance, temporary and ever-changing.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji teaches that the only lasting truth is Waheguru.
When we remember this:
• Ego becomes lighter
• Attachments lose their grip
• Gratitude grows stronger
• Life becomes spiritually balanced
Instead of being trapped in illusion, we begin to live with awareness — focusing on Naam, humility, and truth.
🙏 May we remember today that the eternal reality lies in Waheguru’s presence, not in the passing illusions of the world.
