ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥
ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਦੀਨ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰ ਜਲ ਮਿਲਿ ਕਮਲੁ ਵਿਗਸੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
मेरा पिआरा प्रीतमु सतिगुरु रखवाला ॥
हम बारिक दीन करहु प्रतिपाला ॥
मेरा मात पिता गुरु सतिगुरु पूरा गुर जल मिलि कमलु विगसै जीउ ॥
Merā piārā parīṯam saṯgur rakẖvālā.
Ham bārik ḏīn karahu parṯipālā.
Merā māṯ piṯā gur saṯgur pūrā gur jal mil kamal vigsai jīo.
🌿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴:
My beloved True Guru is my Protector. I am a helpless child; please care for me. The Perfect Guru is my Mother and Father. With the Guru's life-giving wisdom, the lotus of my heart blossoms.
🌼 ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਰਥ:
ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਨਿਮਾਣਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਹਾਂ; ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਮੇਰੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰੋ। ਪੂਰਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ-ਰੂਪੀ ਜਲ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਰਦਾ-ਕਮਲ ਖਿੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
🌺 हिंदी अर्थ:
मेरा प्यारा सतगुरु मेरा रक्षक है। मैं असहाय बालक हूँ; हे गुरु! मेरी देखभाल कीजिए। पूर्ण सतगुरु मेरे माता-पिता हैं। गुरु के ज्ञान-रूपी जल से हृदय-कमल खिल उठता है।
✨ 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Today's Hukamnama reminds us of a beautiful relationship — we are the children and Satguru is our protector.
A child may not understand every difficulty but trusts the one caring for them. Gurbani teaches us this same trust in Guru Sahib. It does not promise a life without hardship; it gives us spiritual guidance through every situation.
Just as water helps a lotus blossom, Gurbani nourishes our heart. Fear becomes faith, restlessness becomes acceptance and uncertainty becomes trust in Waheguru's Hukam.
