The Kara (ਕੜਾ / Kada) is a circular bracelet traditionally worn by Sikhs and is one of the Five Ks (Panj Kakaar) associated with the Sikh faith.
The Kara was formally established as one of the articles of Sikh faith within the Khalsa tradition by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1699.

This is a silver-plated fashion jewellery item and is intended primarily for occasional wear.
Silver plating is a surface finish and will not remain permanently unchanged. With normal use, the plating may gradually fade, discolour or wear away. How quickly this occurs depends on frequency of wear, individual skin chemistry and how the Kara is cared for.
To help preserve the finish:
