📝 Description
The Stainless Steel Sikh Kara Brass Line Design V2 combines a traditional round Sikh Kara with an attractive contrasting brass accent line, creating a distinctive two-tone silver and gold-look appearance.
The smooth rounded profile makes this design comfortable for everyday wear, while the subtle brass detailing adds character without making the Kara overly decorative.
Available in a wide range of inner-diameter sizes from children through to adults, this V2 design is suitable for Singh, Kaur, boys, girls, men and women.
These Karas are sourced from Sri Amritsar Sahib, Punjab, an important centre for traditional Sikh religious articles and Kara craftsmanship.
🪯 Sikh Significance
The Kara is one of the Five Kakars (Panj Kakaar / 5Ks) associated with the Khalsa tradition established by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Vaisakhi in 1699.
The Five Kakars are:
• Kesh – uncut hair
• Kangha – wooden comb
• Kara – bracelet
• Kachera – prescribed undergarment
• Kirpan – article of faith
The Kara's continuous circular form is traditionally associated with continuity, discipline, responsibility and remembrance of the Guru's teachings.
It is worn by Sikhs worldwide and is also widely known through search variations including Kara, Kada, Karra and Karha.

📏 Size Guide
All sizes shown in the variation menu refer to the INNER DIAMETER of the Kara in centimetres.
For the best fit, measure straight across the inside of an existing Kara that fits comfortably.
Please do not measure the outside diameter.
Because this is a solid closed Kara, it must be large enough to pass comfortably over the widest part of the hand and knuckles.
For multiple sizes, please add each required size separately to your basket.
🛠️ Traditional Amritsar Kara Characteristics
These Karas are produced and finished using traditional manufacturing processes and are commonly transported together in bulk during production and distribution.
Individual pieces may therefore show minor:
• Grinding or polishing marks
• Small scratches or rub marks
• Tiny dents or dings
• Tool or finishing marks
• Joint marks
• Small surface irregularities
• Minor variations in dimensions or finish
These characteristics do not normally affect the everyday function of the Kara and contribute to the individual appearance of traditionally manufactured pieces.
🧽 Brass Care
The decorative brass section may naturally darken or oxidise over time due to exposure to air, moisture, perspiration and everyday handling.
This is a normal characteristic of brass.
Occasional careful polishing with a suitable brass cleaner, such as Brasso, can help restore its brighter appearance. Always follow the cleaning product manufacturer's instructions.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Kara made from Sarbloh?
No. Design V2 is made primarily from stainless steel with a brass accent detail.
Is the gold-coloured section real gold?
No. The contrasting gold-tone detail is brass, not gold.
Can the brass change colour?
Yes. Brass naturally develops oxidation or patina over time. It can normally be brightened again using an appropriate brass polish.
How is the Kara size measured?
The sizes are measured by the inner diameter in centimetres.
Are children's sizes available?
Yes. The variation range includes sizes suitable for children through to adults, subject to current stock.
Will every Kara look exactly identical?
Not necessarily. Minor manufacturing and finishing variations are normal between individual pieces.

⚠️ Important Information & Protective Disclaimer
Measurements and weights are approximate and may vary slightly according to size and individual manufacture.
As these Karas are traditionally manufactured and finished, minor scratches, grinding marks, polishing lines, joint marks, small dents, tool marks, tiny surface irregularities and slight differences in shape or finish may occur.
The brass accent may naturally oxidise, darken or develop patina through exposure to air, moisture, perspiration and everyday wear. This is a natural property of brass and is not necessarily a product defect.
Please carefully select the correct inner diameter before purchasing. Fit can vary according to hand and knuckle size even where wrist measurements are similar.
Colours may vary slightly due to photography, camera flash, reflections, lighting conditions and individual screen settings.
