ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਅਧੇਰਾ ਸੰਤੀ ਕਾਟਿਆ ਜੀਅ ਦਾਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਦੈਣੀ ॥ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਨੋ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਜਲਤੇ ਸੀਤਲ ਹੋਣੀ ॥ अगिआनु अधेरा संती काटिआ जीअ दानु गुर दैणी ॥ करि किरपा करि लीनो अपुना जलते सीतल होणी ॥ Agiān aḏẖerā sanṯī kātiā jīa ḏān gur ḏaiṇī. Kar kirpā kar līno apunā jalṯe sīṯal hoṇī. The Saints dispel the darkness of ignorance; the Guru is the Giver of the gift of life. ਮੋਨਿ ਭਇਓ ਕਰਪਾਤੀ ਰਹਿਓ ਨਗਨ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਬਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥ ਤਟ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਭ ਧਰਤੀ ਭ੍ਰਮਿਓ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਛੁਟਕੈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ मोनि भइओ करपाती रहिओ नगन फिरिओ बन माही ॥ तट तीरथ सभ धरती भ्रमिओ दुबिधा छुटकै नाही ॥ Mon bẖaio karpāṯī rahio nagan firio ban māhī. ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਬਸਹੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਨੀਤ ॥ ਤੈਸੀ ਬੁਧਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਪਰਗਾਸਾ ਲਾਗੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥   क्रिपा निधि बसहु रिदै हरि नीत ॥ तैसी बुधि करहु परगासा लागै प्रभ संगि प्रीति ॥   Kirpā niḏẖ bashu riḏai har nīṯ. Ŧaisī buḏẖ karahu pargāsā lāgai parabẖ sang parīṯ.   O Lord, ocean of mercy, please abide forever in my heart. ਅਉਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੇਈ ਅਪਨਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥ ਹਾਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੈ ਅਪਨੇ ਕਉ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੇ ॥   अउखी घड़ी न देखण देई अपना बिरदु समाले ॥ हाथ देइ राखै अपने कउ सासि सासि प्रतिपाले ॥   Aukẖī gẖaṛī na ḏekẖaṇ ḏeī apnā biraḏ samāle. Hāth ḏee rākẖai apne kao sās sās parṯipāle.   He does not let His devotees see the difficult times; this is His innate nature.
