✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1392 ✨
ਸੁ ਕਹੁ ਟਲ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥
ਦਰਸਨਿ ਪਰਸਿਐ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੈ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
So kaho tal gur seveeae ahinis sahaj subhaae.
Darsan parsiae guroo kae janam maran dukh jaae.
🌿 Meaning:
So speaks Tal the poet: serve the Guru, day and night, with natural love and devotion. By experiencing the Guru’s presence, the pain of birth and death is removed.
💫 Reflection:
Guru Sahib guides us towards a simple yet powerful path — seva of the Guru with sehaj (natural, effortless love). This is not forced devotion or ritual, but a gentle, heartfelt connection that flows continuously, day and night.
Often, we complicate spirituality, thinking it requires special moments or strict routines. But Gurbani reminds us that true connection is sahaj — सहज — natural, steady, and peaceful. When love for the Guru becomes part of our daily living, every action becomes meaningful.
Through this connection, something profound happens — the fear of janam maran (birth and death) begins to dissolve. This does not mean escaping life, but rising above fear, ego, and attachment. The Guru’s Darshan (presence) brings inner peace, clarity, and liberation.
