📝 Description
The V6 Stainless Steel Sikh Kara with Double Brass Lines is a substantial, beautifully finished Sikh Kada combining a smooth silver-tone stainless steel body with two contrasting brass lines around the circumference.
Its approximately 8mm wide × 6.6mm thick profile gives the Kara a strong presence without being excessively bulky. Depending on size, each Kara weighs approximately 70–95g, providing a reassuring solid feel on the wrist.
The decorative double brass line design creates an attractive silver-and-gold two-tone appearance while retaining the clean circular form traditionally associated with the Sikh Kara.
Made in Sri Amritsar Sahib, Punjab, V6 is suitable for Singh and Kaur and works equally well for everyday Sikh wear, Punjabi cultural occasions or meaningful gifting.
🪯 Sikh Significance
The Kara is one of the Five Kakars (Panj Kakaar / 5Ks) associated with the Khalsa tradition established by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Vaisakhi in 1699.
The Five Kakars are Kesh, Kangha, Kara, Kachera and Kirpan.
The continuous circular form of the Kara is traditionally associated with:
• Remembrance of the Guru's teachings
• Discipline and responsibility
• Continuity and unity
• Sikh identity
• Commitment to righteous conduct
✨ Double Brass Line Design
The distinguishing feature of V6S is the pair of brass accent lines running around the Kara.
✔ Smooth flat-profile design
✔ Double brass line detailing
✔ Attractive silver and gold-tone contrast
✔ Approx. 8mm width
✔ Approx. 6.6mm thickness
✔ Solid 70–95g approximate weight
✔ Smooth inner surface for comfortable wear
✔ Multiple sizes available
✔ Unisex Singh & Kaur design
The understated two-tone detailing makes this an excellent option for someone wanting a Kara that is traditional in form but slightly more decorative than a plain stainless steel design.
📏 Size Guide
All variation sizes are the INNER DIAMETER of the Kara measured in centimetres.
The easiest way to determine your size is to measure an existing solid Kara that already fits comfortably.
Place it flat and measure directly across the centre from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge.
Do not include the metal thickness or measure the outside diameter.
As this is a solid closed Kara, it must also comfortably pass over the widest part of your hand and knuckles.
Please check your required size carefully before ordering.
🧽 Brass Care & Maintenance
The stainless steel body is durable and suitable for regular wear. However, brass is a naturally reactive metal and the decorative brass lines may gradually darken or develop a patina.
This is normal and does not mean the Kara is defective.
The brass detailing can normally be refreshed periodically with an appropriate brass cleaner such as Brasso, following the manufacturer's directions. A soft, clean cloth can also be used for routine wiping.
Avoid unnecessary prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals, cleaning products and excessive moisture.

⚠️ Important Information & Protective Disclaimer
This product combines stainless steel with genuine brass detailing. Brass naturally reacts with air, moisture, perspiration and regular handling and can gradually darken, oxidise or develop a patina. This is a normal material characteristic rather than a manufacturing defect.
These Karas are traditionally manufactured and finished. Individual pieces may display minor grinding marks, polishing lines, tiny scratches, small dents, tool marks, joint/finishing marks, surface irregularities or slight variations in the brass lines resulting from shaping, finishing and handling during manufacture.
Such minor characteristics do not normally affect the intended use or overall appearance of the Kara.
Measurements and weights are approximate and can vary according to size and individual manufacture. Please check the required inner diameter carefully before purchasing.
Colour may vary slightly due to photography, camera flash, reflections, lighting conditions and individual screen settings.
