Crafted from Pure Sarbloh (Pure Iron) using traditional forging methods, this beautiful Flat One Edge Sikh Kara reflects the timeless design worn by generations of Khalsa Sikhs.
The Kara is one of the Five Kakars (5Ks) bestowed by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji during the creation of the Khalsa in 1699. It represents the eternal nature of Waheguru, righteous living, discipline, courage, and a constant reminder to perform truthful and noble deeds.
Each Kara is individually handmade by traditional artisans in the holy city of Sri Amritsar Sahib (Darbar Sahib / Harmandir Sahib Ji) using age-old blacksmith techniques rather than modern mass production. Because of this, every Kara carries its own unique character and authentic appearance.
Unlike polished stainless steel Karas, genuine Sarbloh develops a natural patina over time and is highly valued by many practising Singhs for its traditional appearance and historical authenticity.

The following are normal characteristics of authentic handmade Sarbloh Karas and should not be considered defects:

• Hairline forge marks or fine lines around the joint created during traditional hand forging.
• Minor hammer marks, grinding marks, polishing marks, scuffs or tool marks from the handmade manufacturing process.
• Small dings, dents or slight surface irregularities that reflect traditional blacksmith craftsmanship.
• Slight variations in width, thickness, weight, finish and overall appearance.
• Every Kara is individually handmade, meaning no two Karas are exactly the same.
Many Singhs intentionally seek these authentic characteristics because they reflect the traditional Sarbloh Karas historically made during the time of the Sikh Gurus.
We carefully inspect every Kara before dispatch and lightly clean the surface to remove loose dust or excess oxidation while preserving its authentic handmade character.
