The Kara (ਕੜਾ) is one of the Five Ks (Panj Kakaar) established by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1699 during the creation of the Khalsa.
Its circular shape, without beginning or end, symbolises the eternity of Waheguru and reminds the wearer to live truthfully, honestly and according to Sikh principles.
