ਜੇ ਸਉ ਚੰਦਾ ਉਗਵਹਿ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜਹਿ ਹਜਾਰ ॥ ਏਤੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋਦਿਆਂ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਘੋਰ ਅੰਧਾਰ ॥ जे सउ चंदा उगवहि सूरज चड़हि हजार ॥ एते चानण होदिआं गुर बिनु घोर अंधार ॥ Je sao cẖanḏā ugvahi sūraj cẖaṛėh hajār. Ėṯe cẖānaṇ hiḏiāʼn gur bin gẖor anḏẖār.
