✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – 5 Sawan | 20 July, Monday | SGGS Ang 1096 ✨
ਜਾ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੈ ਵਲਿ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਕਿਆ ਮੁਹਛੰਦਾ ॥
ਤੁਧੁ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੈਨੋ ਸਉਪਿਆ ਜਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ॥
Jā ṯū merai val hai ṯā kiā muhchhanda.
Ŧuḏẖ sabẖ kichh maino saupiā jā ṯerā bandā.
🌿 Meaning (English):
O Lord, if You are by my side, what have I to fear or worry about? When I became Your servant, You entrusted everything to my care and blessed me with all that I truly need.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi):
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਜਾਂ ਆਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे प्रभु! यदि आप मेरे साथ हैं तो मुझे किसी बात का भय या चिंता क्यों हो? जब मैं आपका सेवक बना, तब आपने मेरी देखभाल अपने हाथ में ले ली और मुझे वह सब प्रदान किया जिसकी मुझे वास्तव में आवश्यकता है।
💫 Reflection:
This Shabad is a beautiful expression of complete trust in Waheguru. It reminds us that the greatest source of confidence is not our own strength, wealth, or abilities, but the assurance that the Divine is always with us.
Life often presents situations that make us anxious about the future. We worry about what might happen, whether we will succeed, or how challenges will unfold. Gurbani gently shifts our perspective. When we truly surrender to Waheguru and walk in harmony with His will, fear begins to lose its hold over us.
Trust does not mean that life will be free from difficulties. Rather, it means knowing that whatever comes, Waheguru's wisdom, guidance, and grace will accompany us. A heart filled with faith is stronger than a mind filled with worry.
