✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1428 ✨
Jatan bahut mae kar rahio mitio na man ko maan.
Durmat sio Naanak fadhio raakh leho bhagvaan.
🌿 Meaning:
Despite making many efforts, the ego of the mind does not disappear. Guru Nanak Dev Ji humbly expresses that being trapped in negative thinking, only Vaheguru can truly save and uplift us.
💫 Reflection:
We try so many methods — success, possessions, knowledge, even outward spirituality — yet the inner ego quietly remains. This Shabad is a deep and honest confession: human effort alone cannot remove haumai (ego).
When the mind is caught in durmat (negative tendencies), it keeps pulling us away from peace. The turning point comes when we surrender — when we stop relying only on ourselves and call upon Vaheguru with true humility.
🙏 This is not weakness, it is wisdom.
Real strength is recognising: “I cannot do this alone.”
🌼 Message for Today:
Let go of ego. Ask for Guru’s kirpa. When humility enters, grace flows — and that is when real transformation begins.
