✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – 23 Sawan | 7 August, Friday | SGGS Ang 1382 ✨

Farīḏā mai jāniā ḏukẖ mujẖ kū ḏukẖ sabāiai jag.
Ūcẖe cẖaṛ kai ḏekẖiā ṯāʼn ghar ghar ehā ag.

🌿 Meaning (English):
Baba Farid Ji says: I thought that I alone was suffering, but I discovered that the whole world is suffering. When I looked around from a higher perspective, I saw this same fire of pain burning in every home.

(Punjabi):

(Hindi):

💫 Reflection:
This Shabad teaches us one of the greatest lessons in compassion. When we are going through difficult times, it is easy to believe that no one else understands our pain. Baba Farid Ji gently reminds us that suffering is part of the human experience, and every home carries its own hidden struggles.

Many people smile while quietly carrying burdens that others never see. Recognising this truth changes the way we treat those around us. Instead of judging quickly or speaking harshly, we become more patient, more understanding, and more willing to offer kindness.

Gurbani does not leave us dwelling on sorrow. It encourages us to respond with compassion, faith, and remembrance of Waheguru. As we support one another and place our trust in the Divine, our own hearts also become lighter. Sometimes the greatest healing comes not from finding people without pain, but from sharing love with those who are silently carrying it.

🙏 Closing Thought:
Every person you meet is fighting a battle you may never see—choose compassion.

🌼 Message for Today:
Offer kindness without hesitation, because you never know what someone else is carrying. Let your words and actions become a source of comfort and hope.
