✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1429 ✨
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਰ ਮੈ ਗਹਿਓ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਮ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥
ਜਿਹ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸੰਕਟ ਮਿਟੈ ਦਰਸੁ ਤੁਹਾਰੋ ਹੋਇ ॥
Raam naam ur mae gahio jaa kae sam nahee koe.
Jih simrat sankat mitae daras tuhaaro hoe.
🌿 Meaning:
I have enshrined the Lord’s Name within my heart — nothing compares to it. By remembering it, my troubles are erased, and I receive the blessed vision of the Divine.
💫 Reflection:
Guru Sahib brings us to the essence of all spiritual effort — to hold Naam deeply within the heart. Not just on the lips, not just in routine, but truly within. When Naam becomes part of our being, it transforms how we experience life.
We often search outside for peace, solutions, or relief from difficulties. But Gurbani gently teaches that the real anchor lies within — in remembrance of Waheguru. When the mind connects with Naam, sankat (troubles) may not always disappear instantly from the outside, but their burden on the heart begins to fade.
And beyond relief, something even greater is received — Darshan. This is not only a physical vision, but a deep inner awareness of the Divine presence. A feeling that Waheguru is near, guiding, protecting, and walking with us.
