📖 ਜਿਹਬਾ ਗੁਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਭਜਹੁ ਕਰਨ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਨਿ ਰੇ ਮਨਾ ਪਰਹਿ ਨ ਜਮ ਕੈ ਧਾਮ ॥
जिहबा गुन गोबिंद भजहु करन सुनहु हरि नामु ॥
कहु नानक सुनि रे मना परहि न जम कै धाम ॥
Jihbaa gun gobind bhajahu karan sunhu har naam.
Kaho Naanak sun re manaa pareh na jam kae dhaam.
Vibrate with your tongue the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe; with your ears, hear the Lord’s Name. Says Nanak, listen O mind: you shall not have to go to the house of Death.

ਆਪਣੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਣ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਫਰਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਕਰ, ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ! ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਯਮ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ।

Naam is protection.
Naam is purification.
Naam is liberation.
