✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 758 ✨
ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸਚਾ ਨੇਹੁ ਲਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਆਪਣੈ ॥
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ਜਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਦੇਖਾ ਸਾਮੑਣੇ ॥
अंदरि सचा नेहु लाइआ प्रीतम आपणै ॥
तनु मनु होइ निहालु जा गुरु देखा साम्हणे ॥
Anḏar sachā néhu lāiā parītam āpṇai.
Ṯan man hoi nihāl jā gur ḏekẖā sāmĥṇe.
🌿 Meaning (English):
Deep within my heart, I have enshrined true love for my Beloved. My body and soul are filled with joy whenever I behold my Guru.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi - Gurmukhi):
ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਲਈ ਸੱਚਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰਾ ਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
मैंने अपने हृदय में अपने प्रिय प्रभु के लिए सच्चा प्रेम बसाया है। जब मैं गुरु के दर्शन करता हूँ, तब मेरा तन और मन आनंद से भर जाते हैं।
💫 Reflection:
Guru Sahib teaches that spirituality is not merely an outward practice—it begins with genuine love for Waheguru within the heart. When love for the Divine becomes sincere, it transforms the way we think, speak, and live.
The joy described in this Shabad is not dependent on wealth, success, or favourable circumstances. It is the inner happiness that blossoms through the Guru's guidance and the remembrance of Waheguru. A heart filled with Divine love naturally becomes peaceful, compassionate, and content.
The more we keep Gurbani close to our lives, the more we begin to experience this spiritual bliss. The Guru's teachings become a source of strength, hope, and joy in every situation.
