ਜੇਤੇ ਦਾਣੇ ਅੰਨ ਕੇ ਜੀਆ ਬਾਝੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਜੀਉ ਹੈ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥ जेते दाणे अंन के जीआ बाझु न कोइ ॥पहिला पाणी जीउ है जितु हरिआ सभु कोइ ॥ Jeṯe ḏāṇe ann ke jīā bājẖ na koe. Pahilā pāṇī jīo hai jiṯ hariā sabẖ koe. As many as are the grains of corn, none is without life. ਫਰੀਦਾ ਮੈ ਜਾਨਿਆ ਦੁਖੁ ਮੁਝ ਕੂ ਦੁਖੁ ਸਬਾਇਐ ਜਗਿ ॥ ਊਚੇ ਚੜਿ ਕੈ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਏਹਾ ਅਗਿ ॥ फरीदा मै जानिआ दुखु मुझ कू दुखु सबाइऐ जगि ॥ ऊचे चड़ि कै देखिआ तां घरि घरि एहा अगि ॥ Farīḏā mai jāniā ḏukẖ mujẖ kū ḏukẖ sabāiai jag. ਹਮ ਭੀਖਕ ਭੇਖਾਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਨਿਜ ਪਤਿ ਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ॥ ਹੋਹੁ ਦੈਆਲ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਮੰਗਤ ਜਨ ਕੰਉ ਸਦਾ ਰਹਉ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥ हम भीखक भेखारी तेरे तू निज पति है दाता ॥ होहु दैआल नामु देहु मंगत जन कंउ सदा रहउ रंगि राता ॥ Ham bẖīkẖak bẖekẖārī ṯere ṯū nij paṯ hai ḏāṯā.
