✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – 19 Sawan | 3 August, Monday | SGGS Ang 670 ✨
ਸਭਨਾ ਕੀ ਤੂ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹ ॥
ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਖੁ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ॥
Sabẖnā kī ṯū ās hai mere piāre sabẖ ṯujẖėh ḏẖiāvahi mere sāh.
Jio bẖāvai ṯio rakẖ ṯū mere piāre sacẖ Nānak ke pāṯisāh.
🌿 Meaning (English):
You are the hope of all, O my Beloved; everyone meditates upon You, O my King. As it pleases You, protect and preserve me, O my Beloved; You are the True King of Nanak.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi):
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ! ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰ। ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ਹੈਂ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे मेरे प्रिय प्रभु! आप सबकी आशा हैं और सभी आपका ध्यान करते हैं। जैसे आपको भाए, वैसे ही मेरी रक्षा करें। आप ही नानक के सच्चे पातशाह हैं।
💫 Reflection:
This Shabad reminds us that Waheguru is the true hope of every living being. Whether we recognise it or not, every heart longs for peace, security, and lasting happiness—and all of these find their source in the Divine.
Guru Sahib teaches us to place our trust completely in Waheguru. Instead of constantly trying to control every situation, we are encouraged to accept His wisdom with faith. Surrender is not a sign of weakness; it is an expression of confidence that the One who created us also knows what is best for us.
When we remember that Waheguru is our eternal Protector, fear begins to fade and faith grows stronger. We continue to fulfil our responsibilities with honesty and dedication, but we leave the outcome in His hands. This balance of effort and trust brings peace to the mind and strength to the heart.
