✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – 23 Harh | 7 July, Tuesday | SGGS Ang 201 ✨
ਥਿਰੁ ਘਰਿ ਬੈਸਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
ਦੁਸਟ ਦੂਤ ਪਰਮੇਸਰਿ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
ਜਨ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਰਖੀ ਕਰਤਾਰੇ ॥
Thir ghar baishu har jan piāre.
Satgur tumre kāj savāre.
Dusat dūt parmesar māre.
Jan kī paij rakhī kartāre.
🌿 Meaning (English):
Remain steady within your true spiritual home, O beloved servant of the Lord. The True Guru has resolved your affairs. The Divine has destroyed the forces of evil, and the Creator has preserved the honour of His devotee.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi):
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸੇਵਕੋ! ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਡੋਲ ਰਹੋ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਵਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਬੁਰਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे प्रभु के प्रिय सेवको! अपने भीतर के आध्यात्मिक घर में स्थिर रहो। सतगुरु ने आपके कार्य सँवार दिए हैं। परमात्मा ने बुराइयों का नाश किया है और अपने भक्त की लाज रखी है।
💫 Reflection:
This Shabad reminds us that real stability is found not in the changing circumstances of the world, but within our connection to Waheguru. The "true home" is the peaceful state of mind that remains anchored in the Guru's wisdom, regardless of life's ups and downs.
Many of our fears arise because we try to solve everything through our own strength. Gurbani reassures us that when we sincerely walk the Guru's path, we are never alone. The Guru guides our decisions, strengthens our hearts, and helps us overcome the inner enemies of ego, anger, greed, attachment, and pride.
The promise of this Shabad is not that life will be free from challenges, but that the Creator never abandons those who place their trust in Him. Even during difficult times, Waheguru protects our spiritual honour and provides the strength to move forward with faith.
