✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1428 ✨

Man maaiaa mae ram rahio nikasat naahin meet.
Naanak moorat chitar jio chhaadit naahin bheet.

🌿 Meaning:
The mind is deeply absorbed in Maya (worldly attachment) and finds it difficult to escape. Guru Nanak Dev Ji compares it to a painting on a wall — just as it cannot detach itself, the mind remains stuck in illusion.

💫 Reflection:
Maya is subtle — it doesn’t always appear as obvious greed or wealth. It can be attachment to comfort, status, habits, or even our own thoughts. Slowly, without realising, the mind becomes so attached that it feels impossible to step away.

This Shabad beautifully illustrates how deeply rooted this attachment can be. Like a painting that cannot leave the wall, the mind clings to what it knows. But Gurbani reminds us — awareness is the first step to freedom.

The moment we recognise this attachment, we begin to loosen its hold. Through Naam Simran and Guru’s guidance, the mind can gradually detach and find true peace beyond Maya.

🙏 Don’t fight Maya with force — rise above it with awareness and remembrance of Vaheguru.

🌼 Message for Today:
Be mindful of what your mind is attached to. Turn towards Naam, and slowly free yourself from the grip of Maya.

Shared with gratitude to Guru Ram Das Ji for His endless blessings 🙏
