✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 682 ✨
ਅਉਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਨ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੇਈ ਅਪਨਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
ਹਾਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੈ ਅਪਨੇ ਕਉ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੇ ॥
अउखी घड़ी न देखण देई अपना बिरदु समाले ॥
हाथ देइ राखै अपने कउ सासि सासि प्रतिपाले ॥
Aukẖī gẖaṛī na ḏekẖaṇ ḏeī apnā biraḏ samāle.
Hāth ḏee rākẖai apne kao sās sās parṯipāle.
🌿 Meaning (English):
The Lord does not allow His devotee to be overcome by difficult times; this is His very nature. Extending His hand, He protects His own, and with every breath He nurtures and sustains them.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi - Gurmukhi):
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਔਖੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
परमात्मा अपनी कृपा और स्वभाव के अनुसार अपने भक्त को कठिन समय में अकेला नहीं छोड़ता। वह उसका हाथ पकड़कर रक्षा करता है और प्रत्येक श्वास के साथ उसका पालन-पोषण करता है।
💫 Reflection:
Life brings moments when we feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or afraid. During such times, it may seem as though we are carrying our burdens alone. Yet Gurbani reassures us that Waheguru never abandons those who place their trust in Him.
The Guru reminds us that divine care is not occasional—it is constant. With every breath we take, Waheguru sustains us, guides us, and provides strength beyond our own abilities. Even when we cannot see the path ahead, His hand is already there, leading us forward.
This Shabad encourages us to replace fear with faith. Instead of focusing on the size of our problems, we can focus on the greatness of the One who protects and nurtures us at every moment.

Trust that Waheguru is holding your hand, even when the road seems difficult. His care surrounds you with every breath.
