✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1096 ✨
ਜਾ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੈ ਵਲਿ ਹੈ ਤਾ ਕਿਆ ਮੁਹਛੰਦਾ ॥
ਤੁਧੁ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੈਨੋ ਸਉਪਿਆ ਜਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ॥
जा तू मेरै वलि है ता किआ मुहछंदा ॥
तुधु सभु किछु मैनो सउपिआ जा तेरा बंदा ॥
Jā ṯū merai val hai ṯā kiā muhcẖẖanḏā.
Ŧuḏẖ sabẖ kicẖẖ maino saupiā jā ṯerā banḏā.
🌿 Meaning (English):
When You are on my side, Lord, what do I need to worry about? You have entrusted everything to me when I became Your servant.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi - Gurmukhi):
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਕੀ ਮੁਹਤਾਜੀ ਜਾਂ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ? ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे वाहेगुरु! जब आप मेरे साथ हैं, तो मुझे किसी और की क्या चिंता या आवश्यकता है? जब मैं आपका सेवक बन गया हूँ, तब आपने अपनी कृपा से सब कुछ मुझे सौंप दिया है।
💫 Reflection:
This beautiful Hukamnama gives us a powerful message of complete trust in Waheguru. Fear often grows when we believe that everything depends entirely upon us. Guru Sahib reminds us that when our heart rests in the Divine, we are never facing life alone.
“ਜਾ ਤੂ ਮੇਰੈ ਵਲਿ ਹੈ” — When You are on my side — gives tremendous spiritual reassurance. Circumstances may change, plans may fail, and people may come and go, but the support of Waheguru does not depend upon worldly conditions.
Becoming His “ਬੰਦਾ” means living with humility, surrender, and trust. We still work honestly and fulfil our responsibilities, but we stop allowing uncertainty to control our peace. We make our effort and place the outcome in Waheguru's hands.
