✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 433

Ḏaḏai ḏos na ḏeū kisai ḏos karammā āpṇiā.
Jo mai kīā so mai pāiā ḏos na ḏījai avar janā.

🌿 English Meaning

Do not blame anyone else; look instead at your own actions. Whatever I have done, I receive its consequences. I should not place the blame upon another.

✨ Reflection

Today's Hukamnama offers a profound lesson in personal responsibility, humility and self-reflection.

When something goes wrong, our mind can quickly search for someone or something to blame. We may blame circumstances, other people, our past or situations beyond our control. Guru Sahib gently redirects our attention inward.

Do not blame another.

This teaching is not asking us to ignore wrongdoing or pretend that the actions of others have no consequences. Rather, Gurbani encourages us to examine our own mind and actions instead of allowing resentment and blame to consume us.

When we constantly blame others, we remain trapped in anger. When we honestly examine ourselves, we create an opportunity for spiritual growth.

The past cannot always be changed, but its lessons can transform our future. We can ask ourselves: Were my words kind? Were my intentions honest? Could I have responded with greater patience? What can I learn from this experience?

This is the strength Gurbani develops within us — the courage to look inward without hatred, learn without bitterness and move forward with humility.

Instead of asking only, “Who is responsible?”, today's Hukamnama encourages us to ask, “What can this experience teach me?”

🙏 Message for Today

Before blaming someone else today, spend a moment looking within.

Accept what you can learn, improve what you can change and leave what lies beyond your control in Waheguru's Hukam.

May Guru Sahib bless us with the humility to recognise our mistakes, the wisdom to learn from them and the strength to become better through every experience. 🙏
