ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਾਥਿ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੋ ਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਇ ॥   भाई रे तनु धनु साथि न होइ ॥ राम नामु धनु निरमलो गुरु दाति करे प्रभु सोइ ॥   Bẖāī re ṯan ḏẖan sāth na hoe. Rām nām ḏẖan nirmalo gur ḏāṯ kare parabẖ soe.   O Siblings of Destiny, this body and wealth shall not go along with you. ਕਰਮਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਪੂਰਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਬੋਲੁ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਜੇ ਕਰੇ ਘਟੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਤੋਲੁ ॥   करमि पूरै पूरा गुरू पूरा जा का बोलु ॥ नानक पूरा जे करे घटै नाही तोलु ॥   Karam pūrai pūrā gurū pūrā jā kā bol. Nānak pūrā je kare gẖatai nāhī ṯol.   Through the perfect karma of good deeds, one meets the Perfect Guru, whose speech is perfect. ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਵੀਚਾਰੈ ਪੜਿ ਪੜਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਮਾਨੁ ॥ ਆਪਾ ਮਧੇ ਆਪੁ ਪਰਗਾਸਿਆ ਪਾਇਆ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ॥   गुर परसादी विदिआ वीचारै पड़ि पड़ि पावै मानु ॥ आपा मधे आपु परगासिआ पाइआ अम्रितु नामु ॥   Gur parsādī viḏiā vīcẖārai paṛ paṛ pāvai mān. Āpā maḏẖe āp pargāsiā pāiā amriṯ nām. By Guru's Grace, contemplate spiritual knowledge; read it and study it, and you shall be honoured. ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਰਾਖੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸਭ ਜਾਹਿ ॥   गुर का सबदु राखु मन माहि ॥ नामु सिमरि चिंता सभ जाहि ॥   Gur kā sabaḏ rākẖ man māhi. Nām simar cẖinṯā sabẖ jāhi.   Keep the Word of the Guru's Shabad in your mind.
