✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 1429 ✨
ਰਾਮੁ ਗਇਓ ਰਾਵਨੁ ਗਇਓ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਬਹੁ ਪਰਵਾਰੁ ॥
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਥਿਰੁ ਕਛੁ ਨਹੀ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਜਿਉ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥
Raam gaio raavan gaio jaa kao baho parvaar.
Kaho Naanak thir kachh nahee supné jio sansaar.
🌿 Meaning:
Even great figures like Raam Chand and Raavan, despite their power and vast families, eventually passed away. Guru Nanak Dev Ji reminds us that nothing in this world is permanent—it is like a dream that fades away.
💫 Reflection:
No matter how powerful, wealthy, or surrounded by loved ones a person may be, everything in this world is temporary. History itself shows that even the mightiest kings and rulers could not escape time.
Gurbani gently awakens us to this truth—not to create fear, but to bring clarity. When we realise that life is like a passing dream, we begin to let go of ego, attachment, and pride. Instead, we turn towards Naam, humility, and living a truthful life.
The real purpose is not to hold onto what will fade, but to connect with the One that is eternal—Waheguru. That connection alone gives true meaning beyond this temporary world.
