Synopsis: Sikh coinage started in the second half of the 18th century. It reached its peak during the rule of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and ended with the annexation of Punjab in 1849. Sikhs minted 20 mints coins. This edition has added chapters, an updated bibliography and modified details of the coins. Many errors have been eliminated and the book has become a collectors item. No study of Sikh numismatics can progress without consulting this book.
