ਸਭਨੀ ਛਾਲਾ ਮਾਰੀਆ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥

Transliteration:

Sabẖnī cẖẖālā mārīā karṯā kare so hoe.

English Meaning:

Everyone makes the attempt, but that alone happens which the Creator Lord does.

Punjabi Meaning:

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji – Ang 469

The inscription gives this Kara a meaningful Sikh spiritual character while the Gurmukhi Painti engraving celebrates the traditional Punjabi script.

✋ Traditional Handmade Character

Each Sarbloh Kara is individually shaped and finished, so no two pieces will be completely identical.

As this is a traditional handmade pure iron item, you may notice:

  • Small grinding or finishing marks
  • Minor black marks
  • Slight surface irregularities
  • Small differences in engraving position or depth
  • Slight differences in shape and measurements
  • Natural darkening or light surface rust

These are normal characteristics of Sarbloh / pure iron and traditional manufacturing and are not considered manufacturing faults.

The Kara has a smooth inner surface designed for comfortable everyday wear.

📏 Choosing Your Size

The advertised Kara size is the internal diameter measured straight across the centre of the Kara in centimetres.

For example, a 6.5cm Kara has an approximate internal diameter of 6.5cm.

Please measure an existing well-fitting Kara where possible before ordering.

Yes. It is made from traditional Sarbloh / pure iron.

Is the Kara jointless?

Measurements are approximate, and small manufacturing variations are normal.

The green colour visible in some photographs is a reflection from the grass/background and is not part of the Kara's colour.
