⚒️ Traditional Sarbloh – Pure Iron
This Kara is made from Sarbloh (pure iron) rather than stainless steel.
Sarbloh has a naturally different appearance from polished stainless steel. Its surface may develop darker tones, patina, oxidation or occasional rust marks, particularly after exposure to water, perspiration, humidity or moisture.
These natural characteristics are part of genuine iron and should not be confused with stainless-steel jewellery.
The antique/blackish-silver appearance can vary slightly from piece to piece.

These Karas are produced and finished using traditional manufacturing methods, with significant hand working involved.
As a result, every Kara is slightly individual.
You may notice:

• Tiny pits/holes resulting from traditional iron working

📏 IMPORTANT – HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR KARA SIZE
All Kara sizes in the variation menu refer to the INNER DIAMETER of the Kara – not the outside diameter or circumference.
For example, if the variation says 7.0cm, this means approximately 7.0cm inner diameter.
For the most accurate measurement, measure straight across the inside of a Kara that already fits you comfortably, from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge.
We recommend using digital/vernier callipers wherever possible.
Size Tolerance
Because these Karas are handmade and different measuring instruments can produce slightly different readings, please allow approximately:
±2mm manufacturing/measuring tolerance.
For example, a Kara listed as 7.0cm may measure slightly above or below the stated size.

To maintain your Kara:
• Keep it as dry as reasonably possible.
• Wipe it thoroughly after contact with water or perspiration.
• A dry kitchen towel or soft cloth can be used to remove everyday surface dirt.
• Do not expect Sarbloh to retain the permanently bright appearance associated with stainless steel.
• Natural darkening, patina and oxidation can develop with use.
• If surface rust develops, it can normally be cleaned using an appropriate traditional iron-cleaning method.
