As with all genuine Sarbloh products, minor rust spots, black marks, forge marks, grinding marks, hammer marks or surface imperfections are completely normal and are regarded as signs of authenticity rather than defects.
Each Kara is individually polished before dispatch; however, Pure Sarbloh naturally develops a protective patina and may show light surface oxidation over time. Many Sikhs value this as a characteristic of genuine Sarbloh.

The Sikh Kara (ਕੜਾ) is one of the Five Kakars (5 Ks) bestowed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji at the Khalsa initiation in 1699.
The circular shape, with neither beginning nor end, symbolises the eternity of Waheguru and reminds the wearer to live honestly, perform righteous deeds and remain connected to Sikh values. Traditionally made from Sarbloh (Pure Iron), it also represents strength, humility, courage and unity within the Khalsa Panth.
