ਛਾਡਿ ਵਿਡਾਣੀ ਤਾਤਿ ਮੂੜੇ ॥ ਈਹਾ ਬਸਨਾ ਰਾਤਿ ਮੂੜੇ ॥ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੇ ਮਾਤੇ ਤੈ ਉਠਿ ਚਲਨਾ ॥ ਰਾਚਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਤੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੁਪਨਾ ॥ छाडि विडाणी ताति मूड़े ॥ ईहा बसना राति मूड़े ॥ माइआ के माते तै उठि चलना ॥राचि रहिओ तू संगि सुपना ॥ Cẖẖād vidāṇī ṯāṯ mūṛe. Īhā basnā rāṯ mūṛe. Māiā ke māṯe ṯai uṯẖ cẖalnā. Rācẖ rahio ṯū sang supnā. Give up your envy of others, you fool! You only live here for a night, you fool! ਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਬਸਤੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਰਾਖੈ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮਾਨੈ ਮਾਥੈ ॥ਉਸ ਤੇ ਚਉਗੁਨ ਕਰੈ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਲੁ ॥ जिस की बसतु तिसु आगै राखै ॥प्रभ की आगिआ मानै माथै ॥ उस ते चउगुन करै निहालु ॥ नानक साहिबु सदा दइआलु ॥ Jis kī basaṯ ṯis āgai rākẖai. Parabẖ kī āgiā mānai māthai. Us ṯe cẖaugun karai nihāl. Nānak sāhib saḏā ḏaiāl. When one offers to the Lord, that which belongs to the Lord, and willingly abides by the Will of God's Order, the Lord will make him happy four times over. ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਤੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਕੈਸਾ ਪਾਵੈ ॥ ਬੋਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਮਾਇਆ ਮਦਿ ਮਾਤਾ ਮਰਣਾ ਚੀਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥ जिस के सिर ऊपरि तूं सुआमी सो दुखु कैसा पावै ॥बोलि न जाणै माइआ मदि माता मरणा चीति न आवै ॥ Jis ke sir ūpar ṯūʼn suāmī so ḏukẖ kaisā pāvai.
