✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 133 ✨
ਤੇਰੇ ਕਵਨ ਕਵਨ ਗੁਣ ਕਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਗਾਵਾ ਤੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨਾ ॥
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਤੂੰ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਊਚ ਭਗਵਾਨਾ ॥
तेरे कवन कवन गुण कहि कहि गावा तू साहिब गुणी निधाना ॥
तुमरी महिमा बरनि न साकउ तूं ठाकुर ऊच भगवाना ॥
Ŧere kavan kavan guṇ kahi kahi gāvā ṯū sāhib guṇī niḏẖānā.
Ŧumrī mahimā baran na sākao ṯūʼn ṯẖākur ūcẖ bẖagvānā.
🌿 Meaning (English):
O Lord, which of Your countless virtues can I sing? You are the treasure of all excellence. I cannot fully describe Your greatness; You are the Supreme Master.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi - Gurmukhi):
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਕਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਵਡਿਆਈਆਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਂ? ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈਂ। ਤੇਰੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे प्रभु! मैं आपकी कौन-कौन सी महिमा का वर्णन करूँ? आप सभी गुणों के भंडार हैं। आपकी महानता का पूर्ण वर्णन करना संभव नहीं।
💫 Reflection:
Guru Sahib reminds us that Waheguru's greatness is beyond human words. We often try to describe His kindness, wisdom, mercy, and blessings, yet every description falls short because His virtues are infinite.
When we reflect on our own lives, we can see His Grace in countless ways—in every breath, every opportunity, every lesson, and every blessing we receive. Gratitude naturally arises when we recognise that everything we have is a gift from Him.
Rather than trying to measure Waheguru's greatness, Gurbani encourages us to experience it through Naam, humility, and devotion. The more we remember Him, the more we realise that His blessings are beyond counting.
