✨ Daily Hukamnama Reflection – SGGS Ang 763 ✨
ਹਉ ਆਇਆ ਦੂਰਹੁ ਚਲਿ ਕੈ ਮੈ ਤਕੀ ਤਉ ਸਰਣਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
ਮੈ ਆਸਾ ਰਖੀ ਚਿਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਭੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਗਵਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
हउ आइआ दूरहु चलि कै मै तकी तउ सरणाइ जीउ ॥
मै आसा रखी चिति महि मेरा सभो दुखु गवाइ जीउ ॥
Hao āiā ḏẖūrahu cẖal kai mai ṯakī ṯao sarṇāe jīo.
Mai āsā rakẖī cẖiṯ mėh merā sabẖo ḏukẖ gavāe jīo.
🌿 Meaning (English):
I have journeyed from far away seeking the refuge of Your Sanctuary. With all my heart, I place my hope in You; please remove all my pain and suffering.
🌿 ਅਰਥ (Punjabi - Gurmukhi):
ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਮੈਂ ਲੰਮੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹੀ ਆਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇਂਗਾ।
🌿 अर्थ (Hindi):
हे प्रभु! मैं आपकी शरण में आया हूँ। मेरे हृदय में केवल यही आशा है कि आप मेरी पीड़ा दूर करके अपनी कृपा प्रदान करें।
💫 Reflection:
Every soul is on a journey. Through life's joys and struggles, we search for lasting peace, comfort, and purpose. Guru Sahib reminds us that the journey finds its true destination only when we seek the refuge of Waheguru.
Placing our hopes in the Divine does not mean escaping life's challenges; it means facing them with faith instead of fear. When we sincerely surrender ourselves to Waheguru, the burden on the heart becomes lighter because we know we are never alone.
The greatest refuge is not found in worldly possessions or people, but in the loving embrace of the Creator, whose grace heals the deepest wounds of the soul.

Turn towards Waheguru with faith and a sincere heart. His refuge brings hope, strength, and the peace that every soul longs for.
