ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਤੋਲਿ ਤੋੁਲਾਇਸੀ ਸਚੁ ਤਰਾਜੀ ਤੋਲੁ ॥
ਆਸਾ ਮਨਸਾ ਮੋਹਣੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਠਾਕੀ ਸਚੁ ਬੋਲੁ ॥
गुरमुखि तोलि तोलाइसी सचु तराजी तोलु ॥ आसा मनसा मोहणी गुरि ठाकी सचु बोलु ॥
Gurmukẖ ṯol ṯolāisī sacẖ ṯarājī ṯol.
Āsā mansā mohṇī gur ṯẖākī sacẖ bol.
As Gurmukh, they are weighed and measured, in the balance and the scales of Truth. The enticements of hope and desire are quieted by the Guru, whose Word is True.
ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਤੱਕੜੀ ਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਵੱਟਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਖੁਦ ਜੋਖਦੇ ਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜੁਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਉਮੀਦ ਤੇ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼ ਜੋ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹਿਕਾ ਲੈਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
